What's Jogly?

Jogly is a service designed to make it easier to get your data into a way that's easiest for you and your team to handle... typically email or Slack (with SMS soon!)

Currently Jogly allows posting data from Web forms and API endpoints with Email coming soon and allows you to take that data and either email or Slack you as it happens!

We created Jogly after setting up the same Webhooks, API endpoints over and over again for all our landing pages and projects and figured, why don't we make that useful for everyone!

Example Usage:

# Posting data to Jogly!
$ curl -v -X POST https://api.jogly.io/e/hook/<yourJog>/ -d
  '{"data":{ "Job Title": "Senior Software Engineer",
  "Link":"https://stackoverflow.com/jobs/208381/senior-golang-engineer-elastic",
  "Location":"Australia"}}'

How can I specify a page to redirect to after submitting a web form?

Too easy, we had a load of ideas on this one but settled by allowing you to specify it in the action of the form itself like below:

Web form Sample:

<form
action="https://api.jogly.io/e/form/YOUR_HOOK_ID/?redir=https://www.jogly.io"
method="post">
<div>
    <label for="name">Name:</label>
    <input type="text" id="name" name="name">
</div>
<div>
    <label for="mail">E-mail:</label>
    <input type="email" id="mail" name="email">
</div>
<div>
    <label for="msg">Message:</label>
    <textarea id="msg" name="message"></textarea>
</div>
</form>

Why am I receiving your emails?

You'll receive emails if someone in your team/org has nominated you as the reciever of Jogs
If you can't make them stop by asking your team about it, drop us an email on support@jogly.io and we'll take a look for you while apologising profusely!

Why do I see Jogly in my Slack instance?

Jogly, is a service that leverages Slack to send notifications to you about incoming data for your other projects.
Chances are that you, or an administrator has added Jogly as they thought it would be useful. If you click the Slack integration for Jogly, it will tell you who added it, Go poke them!
